Gingerbread Cake

Low fat, tasty and smells wonderful for the holidays.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Combine flour, spices and baking soda in small bowl.
  2. Lightly beat egg. In large bowl, stir together sugar, buttermilk, oil, applesauce, molasses and egg.
  3. Add flour mix to wet ingredients and stir well.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes at 350 °F (175 °C).
  5. Cut into 4x4 = 16 squares.
