I did not sleep last night. I got up during the night and had a snack but in my food plan. I did not walk yesterday. I sat and did work at my desk all day. I guess I need to walk or get some exercise if I want to sleep at night. I missed getting up at 6am to walk this morning so I had better get my walk in at lunch. I am bushed already and it is only 8:30am. Oh well onward and upward.

It has been a hard day what with work, money and life. But I did stay on track except for my exercising. Proud of myself for that. Hope I can get through the next two months.

I went to class today and weighed in. I have lose 6 lbs. I am proud of myself. The first week is always a big one so next week I am shooting for 2 lbs. My goal for next week is to lose 2 lbs and increase my walking to 5 days at 30 minutes and and 2 days at 45 minutes. Also to keep tracking my food plan and exercise and journaling. They say if you can do this for 2 weeks it becomes a habit. One week down.

Today I need to work on 'Should Statements". I SHOULD have will power. I SHOULD know how to control myself. They say I should replace the word SHOULD with I WILL LEARN. I WILL LEARN to control myself around food. I WILL LEARN how to manage calories and exercise.
I understand that I put a lot of guilt on myself when I am not doing the things I know I should be doing. Even my husband said I SHOULD be able to walk away. I WILL LEARN to walk away and I will work hard to learn the skills to recognize that I am putting all this pressure on myself that I am defeating myself before I even start.
