hey folks been away for awhile visiting friends and fam from out of town...needed to before i go into surgery ont he 12th of august and then again 9 weeks later for kidney surgery..wanted to try and live a bit so havnt been really following any specific diet...just watching what i eat and eating 5-6 small meals a day and keeping busi and moving...have lost about 5-7 lbs in the last two weeks so am okies with that..thinks for now will just wait to get back on my everyday logging till im laid up again...dont need the stress and to obsess over this while going thru so much else..hope everyone here is doing well and happy and healthy will stay in touch love ya's

Need Advice
ctllss, great job on the wieght loss chickie keep up the good work...i had started atkins back in jan 2010 too and lost about 25 lbs then got real sick (long story) and being on meds and kidney probs and stuff got off the plan last time went to docs weighed in 199 then today weighed in 196 so im back on the weight loss train and hoping that even though i have two surgeries coming soon and other health issues that i will stay determined and not let go when it gets tuff...anyways good job girlfriend ^.^ blessings xxx

sounds to me like your doing okies except would reduce the carbs to 20...for sure...drink lotsa fluids namely water...which is something i personally have an issue with..zoiks o.0 lol but if uve done atkins before, u seem to have a good idea of what works for you and thats what i would continue if i were you...i did atkins years ago too but didnt have nearly as much to lose and lost 20 lbs in several weeks and then off cuz i was very active and so forth then, but know with physical disabilities and all, its much harder as cant get in the excercize i would like and meds dont help either...o.0 along with kidney ailment but i try to follow best i can and i know i atleast feel better...just started back on may 25th..havnt weighed as been on menstral cycle..have a docs appt coming the 11th will weigh in then and hopefully atleast a little weight off, we'll see..anyways..good luck and happy dieting ^_^ dar

Weighing In
i hate scales..im just gonna continure to log my food and liquids and stay away from the scale till i see my doc again...have to make an appt for june and then have surgery in august so im just gonna weigh in at those times and not get myself obssessed with the damned scale...>.< lol

today will concentrate on more veggies and water
had solids yesterday and so gonna eat more healthy today...need to rotate and still be sure to get my veggies in so, will eat lighter today and drink plenty of water...keeping cals to 1500-1700..have a nice day all
