SHOCKED could not believe I was up this much, When I told my pal who I was on holidays with she was shocked as well, I wish now I ate more rubbish food, I honestly ate little and exercised a huge amount, yes I drank but only heavy 2 nights, and heavy was 3 glasses wine with dinner, and maybe 3 lagers over 4 hours. and we walked a lot from old town Puerto Carmel to the very end of new town each night and lots of water between. I swam up to 2 hours a day, in pool and the sea, Did plenty of laps.

Ah well time to start again.
242.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 28.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

That is not too bad for a vacation! Think about all the excess sodium that you prolly consumed in the out to eat meals!! It adds up so quickly. Drink up lots of water in the next few days, continue to eat well and keep up the walking and I'll bet you'll drop it in a matter of days. :) I'll bet it's allll water weight. ;) Chin up, dust off, one day, one meal, one bite at a time!! Rock it up!

I agree with Bully that a lot of it is most probably sodium... maybe also water retention (dehydration) through flying? Sounds like you did great with the eating and exercise, so I know a little disheartening to see those scales gain. But don't worry, you just keep with the healthy eating and I'm sure it will drop off in a few days. ;o)

did you just get back from vacation? Maybe bloat from the drinks...or if you were on plane...that always makes you retain fluid too. You've been doing great...and you will lose it in no time I'm sure!

Sorry to hear of the gain, esp. that you were working to do well with your eating. Vacations can be killers on the body. Last year I gained 5 lbs after Christmas and it was terribly discouraging. You can do it and hopefully some of it will just be a temporary gain.

You'll be surprised at how much of that gain is just bloat. Vacay's always come with that lovely little added bonus, it seems. Give yourself a week of being on track and you will be seeing things improve immensely!

Thank you all for your comments, Yes I will try stay focus, Later I will up load my weight record. I,ve signed up on a Boot's smart weight card so that means ever week I weigh in it will have all my previous details & will be good to see it go back down, I have my Pal, Martha, reading my journals, HI Martha, & from next Tuesday, we are doing it together, and once she has her correct weight got, she is joining the site,

Its over and done with now. Get back on track and it will soon go. I gained 10 lbs on my hols this year and it was gone in a week so all is not lost. Get yourself in gear you can do this.
