Ms Elizabeth's Journal, 31 July 2014

Yup.. its official. This kid will never have a name. We thought we settled on a name only to discover one of his first cousins already has that name. We aren't that close.. we didn't even know their kids name. That makes it ok right?? lol Back to the drawing board. Apparently from the names I've seen online you're just suppose to draw random letters out of a hat anyways. Anas? Who the heck named their kid Anas?!?!?! Someone apparently did. It was on a list. *smacking head*

Made it to the gym today for a grand total of 20 minutes! That's when I could feel sweat dripping down my butt crack.. and other cracks. And I was wiped out.. not enough uninterrupted sleep without tinkle breaks last night.. that and heartburn. I quit at that point. BUT.. I still made it to the gym even if it was only for 20 minutes. And.. I learned not to eat pizza at 9:30 at night before going to bed. Ok.. I learned that a while ago but it looked so freaking good and I hadn't eaten dinner yet!

Food.. uh hmmm.. hubby + toddler + pregnancy cravings + shopping while exhausted + grocery shopping at 8pm when no one had dinner = disaster. We got all the staples. Bread.. Chips.. dip.. cookies.. donuts.. lunch meat.. um.. hmm.. I think that was all we bought. That was all I threw in the cart. Oh wait. Bananas! They were the first thing I saw when I walked in the door. :) There see?? I got a fruit. Good news is the 9pm slice of pizza distracted me from all the crap. Except 2 chocolate chip cookies. It didn't distract me from them. This morning I resisted all the crap and packed a healthy breakfast and lunch.. then went to the cafe and got a pudding cup. The intention is there. Plus.. 23 more days until I can suck in my gut. I tried to suck in my stomach today looking at my belly in one of those giant mirrors they have in the gym bathroom. I swear you can't turn a corner without running into a mirror. Interesting tidbit. When you have a hulk baby taking up residence in your belly you can't suck it in. You can however make your boobs appear bigger. Only down side is well.. the belly takes away from any attention your boobs may get. Unless maybe your topless...

Everyone gets made fun of in school. If it's not your name, the kids will find something else. It's part of life. I am so glad we had a girl, because the family names I had to choose from were Khlare and Elwood to just name a few. My favorite name has always been Jonathan. Don't worry you will have a name when you need it.

I had to meet my children before we named them. Of course back then we had no idea what sex they would be. Their names fit them well. My grandsons names are Jonathan Jay, Joshua Aiden, Payton Glen, Colton Lane Nicholas James, steps are Cody and Austin Blake.

Ok, so I just have to say...this post definitely takes it for one of the most entertaining reads on this site. You are awesome. If you like the name Bryce, what do you think about Brydon. That's a pretty awesome name.

Wyatt sounds like a good name for a boy growing up on a farm...

I have nephews named Wyatt and one named Wade and I love both those names. They are teenagers now the names seem to have gone very well for them. :) A friend's son is named Gareth, he's 23 and it's been a cool original name for him also. Just make sure the name you choose sounds good with your last name, that it works for hollering at him to get him to come in from playing, and that the initials work ok. Example: my initials growing up were VD....not so good lolol good luck and have fun

Grayson is a new and interesting new found name. Apparently been around forever but too above goes well, Grayson Wyatt...........hey my nephew named my second son, started naming kids in his class. We ended up with Bryan Scott, even tho a cousin had a Brian, used it any way. Well, enjoy the hunt.......Hunter????? Relax, and eat little bits all day long, Bryan Scott arrived at 9 lbs 15.5 oz...........and is now 6'2". He still pinches my sciatic at that time every now and again. Gotta love 'em!

One of my favorite names was Drayton James (which, if we could have kids, would be one of the names!) Drayton is my paternal grandfather's middle name, and James is his first name.

My parents hadn't picked out a girls name when I was born so I didn't have a name the first week of life. My dad named me after a caricature in a book he was reading. She was a whore. Nice, huh? If I had a boy I was going to name him Justise because I figured he'd give my parents justice for all I did to them.

Dclaytor, I have a boy named Justice, because that was what my hubby chose and I liked it. It's funny though because now he's 9 and he says he wishes we named him either Jason (because he likes that name) or Justin (because everyone mistakenly calls him that).

Mars, since everyone tends to mistake my last name for Clayton, having them mistake the first would be par to course. Weird thing is my ex-husband named his first born with second wife Justice. Always wondered how she felt about that.
