For those of you who celebrate all manner of Holidays; Happy Solstice! A return to light, a new dawn, a new and fresh perspective.
It is the Age of Aquarius! The Age of Aquarius itself is an astrological age. Each astrological age lasts about 2,150 years.
Will this lead to the peace described in the old song? (Click the link below to listen.) I truly hope so. But at very least, its pretty cool to say you lived to see the end of a 2,150 year cycle.

Also possible the end of the world. Discovery channel has had a week of end of the world documentaries....have to stop watch them. Up here in the frozen north the days do get ridiculously short and I'm ready for more day light.

I remember in 6th grade someone brought that record to our music class at school...our ancient teacher couldn't tolerate it, said it was "that awful rock and roll." Haha that was about 1969.

This is my husband's favorite day of the year, because that means (in his mind) summer is just around the corner and he loves summer. We have a foot of snow on the ground and more falling. Happy first day of winter to you!!
