So I took this new headache medicine yesterday...and boy...wooo hooo...I was totally looooooooooopy...out in outer space LOL...All in all...not a good idea. I can't function like that when i have to work. I don't know if it was because I took it without eating...or it is just not right for me. I really do have to be careful on medicine because it effects me like that...even over the counter cold medicine. So I will have to discuss this with my doctor on friday.

I do have a question...I know some people weigh themselves 1/week, every few days, every day...i checked my weight yesterday was the same, checked my weight today down a pound...im not jumping for joy...don't get me wrong great to see the number move however i back and forth in a blink of an week...just was wondering what you recommend on trackng under weight history...If i choose to weigh myself should i record it or not? Just want some opinions. :)

Have a great day all...it's been raining here since yesterday..calling for snow today and more rain for the next 3 days :(

You know, sometimes I feel the need to wait an extra day to make sure the weight up OR down is not a fluke. I hate lots of ups and downs on my chart! Sometimes I go a few days without weighing, but lately I have been weighing just about every morning. Yesterday I was down 1.6 pounds form the day before, but i was sick the day before and didn't drink a lot of water like I normally do, so I didn't record it. If it is still down today, I will record it. It just depends. If the circumstances have been less than normal, like a cheat day, or you are on your period, you might not want to record your weight because a lot of it is water weight. Sounds like you've been sick too..Have you been eating enough? Drinking enough? If so, why not go ahead and record if you want?

It's really at your own discretion. I like to weigh everyday but I only post it once a week. Some people post it everyday. Just depends on you. If you don't mind seeing it go up and down on your chart you could record it each day. I like to see a steady drop down so i don't post but once a week. But i highly recommend stepping on the scale each day to see if maybe something you ate the day before may have affected you negatively. Rather than waiting a week to weigh in and not knowing what is making you gain or retain water, ect.

I weigh myself everyday and record it. I feel it keeps me on the ball. :-)

I weigh myself everyday but I only record my loss once a week. I, too, have noticed that day to day the weight goes up and down, sometimes as much as 4 or 5 pounds from day to day. But at the end of the week it usually evens out and so far I have been fortunate to either maintain or lose each time. I don't think it matters what you do as far as recording your weight goes. It all depends on what motivates/discourages YOU. And even if you decide to record your weight everyday it doesn't mean you are locked into doing it forever. Do what feels right.

My weight fluctuates a lot during the week, one day heavy, one day light so I also weigh every day but only record it on my chart when I am SURE that it is down and will stay that way til the next time I weigh in. I don't like to see "up's" on my chart. The up's I do have is because I was tracking the effects of a medication I just got off of. Do what makes you feel right about it. Im glad you don't let those daily ups upset you, we all have them, its just the way our body processes things.

I just weigh myself once a week because I get too stressed out if the weight goes up and down and up again. I figure it just all balances out during the week so I weigh myself on the same day and time every week and let it go at that. That way I'm either really happy or sad ONE day of the week...lol

Weight does fluctuate so much... so although I weigh myself every day, I too only record once a week. I'm like gracie though and like to see the steady drops on my graph... rather than the daily ups and downs. Keep up the great work though, you're doing fantastic! :o)
