My husband and I have one child who is 20 years old. We are nearing that age now where we must watch our health a lot more closely for high cholesterol, blood pressure, etc. I have tried to lose weight for many years without much success. There was always something getting in the way like stress, work, being involved with family life, etc. I usually put myself last. But I figured that if I don't lose the weight but lose my health I won't be able to enjoy my family, traveling or whatever else I would like to do in the future. I must put my health first. I also need to boost my self-esteem. Since I have a lot of weight that I want to lose, I am trying not to look at the big picture, but take little steps at a time and set small goals for myself until i reach the BIG one.....One Day At A Time.. I think that this forum is a great way to get help and help others reach their goal.
