Hey I'm Mike. I have been overweight ever since I injured my shoulder in 2008. Before I got hurt I was 215 pounds and really ripped. I want that back so badly, but I lack the motivation to do this. I am in the Army and was referred to this website hoping it will get me back on track to my old self!

What if my NET is more than 500
Its not a matter of healthy or unhealthy... if oyu are eating the right foods.. and you are full... as long as you arent starving yourself you will be perfectly healthy. I always eat lots of salad and there are hardly any calories in that so you should be fine Smile

As long as you are at least 500-700 under what it says your RDI is. You will lose weight at a constant rate..

Atkins
I definitely do NOT recommend using the Atkins diet. It is so ridiculously hard to only eat so many of one thing in a day and once you reach that you can't eat anymore! What I suggest is to get your own diet going and once you start entering your information here, you will see how much fat is actually in the stuff you eat and you will want to cut down on your own. Who says you can only eat so many carbs in one day. just be sure to be active with anything you do!
