weigh everyday
eKatherine wrote:
If you feel the need to weigh yourself less often because weighing daily makes you obsessed with the numbers on the scale and you judge yourself for it, or you are afraid that might happen, or you do weigh yourself obsessively, the problem is not the frequency with which you weigh yourself, and cannot be remedied by changing that frequency. The problem is obsession, and it needs to be addressed to get a healthy relationship with food and eating.

I used incorrect wording. I judge myself when I see the daily fluctuations that happen with anybody's weight and get too number-focused instead of health-focused. This is why I weigh weekly and not daily.

weigh everyday
Wow, sounds like I'm in the minority. The moment I start weighing everyday I get too number-focused and obsessive. I've always stayed on track better by doing a weekly weigh in.

Adding Protein to Oatmeal
Try adding Chia Seeds! It will add not only protein, but also calcium, antioxidents, fiber and healthy omega fats.

What's everyone's fitness routine?
I LOVE the elliptical- I'm an addict to the intervals Smile It's how I lost the bulk of my weight thus far.

Right now, though, my workouts are:
Sunday/Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 35 minutes elliptical on high intervals, 30 minutes strength and weight training
Tuesday/Thursdays: Kettle Bell workouts from home
Saturday: REST!
