I am a full time student set to graduate in Dec. 2012 with duel majors in social work and nursing. I work a full time job plus have a disabled husband. I am not your typical college student because of my age but I enjoy being amoung the regular students to keep myself feeling young. I hope to finally rid myself of these unwanted pounds that have been hanging on since my first son was born 23 years ago.

November 1,2011 Started at 275
December 15, 2012 Final Weigh in 219

So over the year I lost 55 lbs.Not bad but 2013 is going to be even better. Goal this coming year is to once again to lose to 165.

Janurary 1, 230 Starting weight
Feburary 1, 232 Not good going wrong direction
March 1, 230 again lost 2 months of weight loss but back on track and joined Planet Fitness.

netflix
We have had netflixs and hulu plus for a while now and got rid of our cable/sat drainage. FOr what we paid in sat/cable bills we are getting more choices on demand and saving about 50 dollars a month for the same things we saw on cable/sat. I access it through my phone, computer, and gaming system. We hooked up a spare laptop to our bedroom TV and use it as the screen instead of the laptop screen. No matter what time of the day it is I can workout, watch a movie or check out the latest news stories from anywhere. Hope this helps with what you wanted to know. If any questions just ask.

Looking for buddies for the long haul
I hope to lose my weight by my next birthday in Dec. but I have close to 100 lbs. to lose to be where I was when I first got married. I hope we can together lose the lbs. and make our husbands remember the vivacious women we are that they married. Add me as a buddy if you like. We all need support in the challenges we have a head of us. Brat

Thanksgiving
I went into the calorie counter and figured up all foods I will be eating. Looked at the measurements and made myself a chart to go by so that when it comes time to fill my plate I know what size, how many and no-nos I can have. Amazingly it still falls close to my RDI. The problem is the other meals and snacking besides the big meal. Good luck to everyone and I agree we all need to watch what we eat but for 1 day enjoy family and friends and eat without the stress of being on a diet of any kind.

Xbox 360 Kinect Fitness...
One thing I have discovered with the Biggest loser game is you have to go online and have a gold membership or doesnt keep track of your progress. A year membership is 50 dollars but well worth it cause you can watch hulu and netflix as well on the xbox live streaming.
