Steady
I have been struggeling with weight all my life and only recently got the hang of how nutrition works and learnt all the mistakes I made with my former diet disasters. A while ago I read "I can make you slim" by Paul McKenna and suddenly realised that this is the only sensible approach I have ever come across, and it has worked well over the last couple of months. I have, however, been really struggeling to get over my severe chocolate addiction which has always managed to destroy any former attempts of eating less and stopping when I am full, but I have now finally managed to fight it off. I went through a terrible cold turkey in the beginning but now the craving has gone completely - as long as I don't lay my hands on any more chocolate, just like an alcoholic! I needed to develop a disgust for chocolate as otherwise it would always get back into my brain and destroy my will. It's the most develish temptation I can ever image and I do wish that it never conquers my thoughts again and breaks my will in a way it used to. Luckily Paul McKenna provided the solution for this as well. I have also swapped all my sugar intake against Stevia which is so much healthier at the same time.
I have now lost more than 20 lbs in the last couple of months and changed my goals to manageable 40 lbs intervals, this will hopefully give me a better feeling of success than to know that there are another 80 lbs to loose.
I have also changed my way of thinking about food and don't eat rubbish anymore. Anything I eat has to be nutritious and good for me, and I started really despising anything fried, fatty and full of empty calories. I enjoy eating fresh fruits and veggies, drinking spring water and snacking on nuts rather than having sugary drinks, white rolls and burgers, and am actually really proud of myself for what I achieved so far.
