I'm a mother of 2 beautiful children aged 7 & 4 and married to a man who loves running! That habit never rubbed off on me. Also, I love cooking, I love food. Dieting seems like one on the deadly 7 sins. But over the last couple of years a picked up a whopping 10 kg!! Which I'm desperately trying to lose, without killing myself in the process. I just stumpled onto fatsecret while playing on the internet. Let's hope this is my miracle cure! ;-)

My quest to gain 22lbs
A very long time ago, when I was around 13 years old, I was put on protein shakes to pick up more weight by a dietician soooo I think that should probably be the right thing to do (wow, how times have changed)...I was a very active child, diagnosed with Chrons disease, eating soooo much, but looked like a skeleton... I took double servings of food every time.. aaaahhh good ol days...hehehe...anyway, what I meant to say before my reminiscing session, is that I know protein shakes are prescribed for difficult weight gain situations, worth a shot...

I'm a real fan of couscous, it's easy to make - super quick, and really healthy! Smile

My quest to gain 22lbs
Ello, I have a good friend that has the same problem as you, (lucky devil Wink , just joking, if I could suggest, (I'm not a dietician) but it's worth a shot. Try having around 500 cal more than the suggested RDI. If you're 1800 for example, go for 2400, try protein shakes with your normal diet. Let me know if it works Wink, all the best!

Winter = running/walking
How do you keep motivated going out in the cold winter evenings to do a quick walk, I was doing so well, but just can't get myself to carry on.. Embarassed I am not seeing great results anyway, and at the moment it feels like torture, just being very honest.. I hate winter...Confused
