hahah! have you seen the compilation of cats in christmas trees? my friend's cat every year climbs in her tree. i found a collection online of lots of other felines doing the same thing 

That's funny! I can't count the number of times we put a tree back up because the cat climbed it and it fell over. We went to a fake tree because it was easier than cleaning up all the spilled water. 

Grief and not to mention jury duty. You poor thing. Try to keep you chin up and finding the humor in the holidays. Luckily Baxter just like to curl up in the cotton skirt underneath.  

I cant see the pics! I want to see the kitties! Our kitty climbs the tree a little less than last year, I just let her do it now, last year it drove me crazy! Hang in there HCB, your going through a lot now that is for sure.

You ability to still find laughter through difficult times is an inspiration. And Cats are mother natures own comedy act, have yet to meet one that does not make me smile when they are being there crazy selves. Big hugz and well wishes seing sent to you. 

Great Comic! I don't own cats, but one of your dogs thinking he needs to cock his leg on it to claim it as his......sweet!! Or maybe he was after the presents that he also "claimed"???  

LOL - funny cartoon. You're right about the grief - After my Grandmother died I sat at work and played tetrus all day thinking 'what's the point'. Good for you for remembering to find joy and a reason to smile as well as cheering our day.

Thank you all! Much better now since I was NOT picked for a jury today - and was dismissed from jury duty completely! So, now I can be home for a few days!

So happy for you -- you deserve the break! I've been busy with my boys home for the holidays but so glad to see you've found a way to smile in the midst of your grief, and share that smile with all of us. 

Now that's some good news! And please get some rest!  

That's great that you don't have to do jury duty right now. I am still so sorry about your grief, it's got to be tough to not have a family member here for the holidays. Thinking of you all the time and hoping you feel better and more able to deal with the next week or so. 

I love the cartoon!! My two cats have been trying to squeeze in under the tree and curl up on the tree skirt. Every time I add a package under the tree they give me a dirty look LOL....
