My name is Kaylene and I live in North Carolina. I'm getting ready to turn 50 which doesn't bother me because I don't "feel" 50, but have been noticing lately that my body is beginning to feel 50! I work a very sedentary desk job which doesn't help with my weight and go to school as well - which also doesn't help with activity levels. Anyway... my birthday has never been my favorite day, but this year I decided it was going to be a great day so I arranged for a big party at a local establishment here. There's nothing I would like better than to be looking "fit" by that day so here I am, again. Not only would I like to be looking good for my birthday, this is also my year for ME. Part of my quest for this year is to find the me that was put on the shelf years ago and part of that person was a thin, active individual. For once in my life I am doing this not for anyone else, but for ME. I love this site and all the support that's available here which is why I came back to it after several years. Hopefully this time I will be able to journal that I have met my goal weight.
