My name is Bonnie. I am married, 63 years old and a grandmother to 5. We live in a semi-rural area and I am retired (which I love). This is actually kind of difficult! I am a Christian, conservative, love to laugh, have fun, and be goofy (my specialty). I am using the 400 calorie solution and it is working a ok of me.

Life has changed since I wrote the above. I have now had bariatric surgery...needed massive repair and restructuring due to 3 hernias. I am losing and healing. Pretty much the rest is the same.

Why is Dieting so Expensive?
I have a question: How do you get adequate protein in your diet eating as you describe? I love the veggies and fruits. Plant based proteins: peanuts and beans and ????

Confused
Fit one is right: consistency is the key--as long as it is consistently right. You are a brave woman to start a new post after the pain of the last one!!! Like you, I am bouncing up and down so I know how frustrating it is to eat properly and not see results.

Here!!! Here!!! Pompous arse might be a bit harsh, no, wait, it is on target. If a wife "can't keep her hands off you" just because of the weight, then there is another problem with the marriage. It is right to be happy with how one looks and proud of one's accomplishments but that "hands" comment is just wrong on so many levels. Thank you ClassicRocker--you are just right on so many levels!!
