Lucybell33's Journal, 07 January 2009

Since I hadn't weighed myself for a number weeks before last week's weigh in, I'm not sure, but I don't think this is a real loss - probably just water retention. However, since I shouldn't really be losing any weight at this stage of my pregnancy (30 weeks), this week I'll increase my average daily calorie intake by 250 above the 1,800 the calorie estimater I used came up with for my age/height/weight/exercise level. I wouldn't mind maintaining at around the 175lb level for the next couple of months, since a 35lb pregnancy gain doesn't sound too horrific!

Thanks for all your lovely comments on last week's journal - it was great to hear from everyone and catch up a bit on how everyone's been doing. I hope everyone is having a good start to the year!

A 35 lb. weight gain during pregnancy wouldn't be bad at all! Hang in there and stay healthy. :)

That would be a great, healthy number. And the way you crusied through losing the last amount of weight, I have no doubt you will be able to do it again.
