I am so close-I can smell the 130's and it's sweet!

Forgot-to add I just went to the endocrinologist and discovered that I had lost 6 lbs since August. I love that I weigh less every time I come in. Unfortunately, I have to go back on the stinkin' cholesterol med. On meds I can keep it under 200-off meds even with the weight loss it shot back up to near 250. LDL is way too high-180 today. Blast!! I am going to try again when I am down to 130.

He is running my thyroids again too-didn't do it in August-why? I do not know why. I go there to get them checked every three months. Silly man. Will find out Tuesday if they are off. i sort of hope they are as it will explain so much of what has been going on with my body lately.

Just downed the Coco Biotic, holding my nose and stamping my feet to keep it down. Have not been able to face the dirt shake yet...Had to leave in a rush this am so no time to add the berries so will either drink it plain or bring it home and have it tonight with berries. Something tells me I should just do it, do it, do it already!
140.6 lb Lost so far: 23.4 lb.    Still to go: 10.6 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

I'm sorry ! I know it's disgusting. Trying to fix my leaky gut so it will absorb vitamins/nutrients better. I have chronic malabsorption and I think it may be part of reason I feel like crap most of the time and am balding, etc. I am willing to try it. Must say just in the few days I have been taking the stuff-my bowels are re-engaged! Like you-Mr. C has taken up permanent residence and for the first time in months I feel like he has gone on vacation!!!!

I noticed myself that you are very close to hitting the 25 lbs lost mark!! It won't be long now!! Also near those blessed thirty-ish numbers!! I don't understand why your doctor was not checking your thyorid either. However my thryoid has been doing so well for so long now that now I don't have to go in except every 6 months to check it. All my bloodwork and numbers are doing great now. I was getting checked every three months, just like you. Until they see that you are doing well and not having symptoms, you would think they would keep testing. Do you fast before getting your bloodwork done? I am suppose to do at least a 12 hour fast before getting the bloodwork done. And as long as you are there, ask your doc what he thinks about that dessicated thyroid, my doc was against it but she also added that I am doing great right now on my current synthetic thryoid medication. Good luck, it will all work out. It's also amazing what we will pour down on throats in an effort to feel better, heck Id drink swamp water if I thought it would help too! As for the dirt shake... reminds me of the mud pies we made when we were little girls... Im almost sure I probably took a bite of one at some time.

What kind of cholesterol meds are you going on? I've been trying to get mine down with diet and I'm holding off on taking meds as long as I can. I really don't want to take those meds. I'm getting my cholesterol and thyroid tested again in a couple months. 130's.....HERE YOU COME! AWESOME! :)

Crestor. It's a statin. I worry about my liver. Heart disease runs in my family though and I seem to have a talent producing cholesterol..... Oh J-yes I do fast. Always get a morning appt. so I can handle not eating. I was too timid to ask the doc re: anything. His manner is so off putting. I really am going to go to another one-I forgot I had this appt. until last night and too late to cancel. At least I got copies of all my last test results so I know where to start with the next quack. I know so disrespectful and I have docs in the family. OOPS

130's oh that would be a dream for me, haven't seen that in 16 years! Good for you. Sorry you have to take down something as aweful as that sounds... to be healthy.. Keep seeing yourself in the 130's, it will come.
