Day 19 (Week 3): 10 TO 30 POUNDS BY November OR BUST

Still cannot believe we are already on the 3rd week of this challenge! Go US!!!

So while I did not resist Old Man Scale either yesterday or today I have made a deal with myself to try and even out the emotional roller coaster. I may peek at the scale more often than I should but I will only record losses during the week. If I stay the same or upfluct then I will forgo the recording a weigh-in here on FS except when I need to for challenges and the like. I have not decided what day is my official weigh in where I have to record because I DEFINITELY still need to do at least a weekly even if I am gaining. Does that make sense?

Well so far after my renewed commitment to my daily walk I have walked both days!! And neither day was on my lunch hour which is my habit. I am proud of me for finding a way even when I could not at my "normal" time!

Even with yesterday's hiccup in calories I am still doing fairly well with my food choices and I eat when I am hungry which is a good thing. My caloric intake and caloric deficit goals are fabulous. I am not depriving myself (anyone see that line about cheesecake? I only had a sliver of each kind of cake yesterday but I still had SOME! Yum! It's funny though I could feel the grease coating my lips from the hazelnut cake, was odd since I normally LOVE frosting!) And yet Old man scale was kind this morning and I am another 1/2lb down weeeee!

5.5lbs to go to my floor goal! And soooo very soon....I think I am gonna be bouncy again today!

Floor Goal: 250 (13lbs down from the beginning of the challenge, 5.5 from now.)
Mid-range: Weigh in at 245 for Thanksgiving with my folks, which is 18lbs from the beginning of the challenge and 10.5 from now
Ceiling goal: So OMG this is feeling more and more doable!! 28lbs by the end of November which brings me down to 235!!! What a great way to start my weight loss journey (it would be over 30lbs in 3.5 months as I truly started "watching" in late August)

1st things first. Reach 255 (seriously ALMOST there!) then 250 then onward!
255.5 lb Lost so far: 11.0 lb.    Still to go: 80.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Great job on finding the time to get exercise in. I'm proud of you too! It's great that you're not depriving yourself. That's the best way to do it...less risk of rebounding. Keep it up! Don't stay too focused on the number. You're doing all the right things, you'll see the changes soon enough. People get so discouraged when a certain number isn't reached by a certain date...please be patient w/yourself. You deserve it!

Way to go finding time to get that exercise in NOT at the norm time for ya. That takes some dedication! As for the scale deal...I just weigh myself on Tuesdays...I don't think it's fair to ourselves when we weigh too much...it's like the scale dictates my mood for the day...I could have had the best day EVER and have a .5 gain...we KNOW it's not right...it's water weight or something...so just for my own sanity (which is questionable...lol) I kicked that scale to the curb and it's only ALLOWED out once a week for 1/2 a second...HAHA! Look at you making your goals!! SUPER-DEE-DUPER!!

Cheesecake... Best. Diet food. Evar! LOL You're doing great with your progress, especially with finding the time for working out. I guess there's no way you're going to stay off the scale with just .5 to go until 255. Good luck!

You need to do whats right for you. I know the first time I stepped on the scale and saw a gain during this whole process I felt sooooo down about it, and just couldn't bring myself to enter it in FS! Good luck in finding the right weigh in day for you...mine is on Mondays....but I like others that have it on Friday, because the weekends for me lately are brutal! Have a great day! =)
