I am a mum of 4 children living in Las Vegas. My husband Jim is in the Airforce and we have been stationed here in Vegas for almost 3 years.
I am originally from the UK and my husband is from Texas. We have two boys ages, 14 and 9 and two girls ages 4 and 3. I have never really dieted before but I'm in this for the long haul, it's time to lose all this baby weight which has hung around since I got pg with my eldest child 14 years ago!

Fiber Supplements
Karen, I take metamucil capsules 4 a day, I'm still not as regular as before low carb but definately more so since starting the metamucil. You can take between 2 and 6 depending on how your body works. Also ground flaxseed is an excellent fiber sorce, added to protein shakes and salads and of course the obvious, as much vegies as your carb count allows, I eat lots of spinach and broccoli and then drink a river load of water Laughing

Flax seed
My diet is low carb too and I use flax seed daily. I use it for the anti-cancer properties and with the low carb diet any help in the "regularity" department is a plus Exclamation

I sprinkle it on my salad and use the ground flax in protein shakes Smile

Week 13 *41 points*
I missed out on points for stairs instead of elevator/walking instead of driving, there are no stairs anywhere in Las Vegas Laughing

and I can't walk anywhere as there's nowhere close that my little ones can walk to in 110 degree heat Exclamation

But I did get a bonus point for my 3lb loss Smile
