I am HAPPY. I am GOOD! I am doing the HAPPY, HAPPY JOY, JOY DANCE all day long!!!!!! I did the Atkins Fat Fast M-TH(F), today will the last day, to jump start the most recent diet stall. That plan is not easy but it is certainly worth the time and effort: I have already lost 6 lbs and have one more day before the challenge is over. I won't be surprised if a couple lbs come back when I go back to regular Atkins, BUT I GOT THOSE @#*#@ SCALES TO MOVE!!! Next week I am out of state for training, so I will be challenged multiple times a day whether to stick with the diet or go with the flow and eating out every meal. Today I feel soooo good that sticking to Atkins while eating out all week sounds easy. Well, I will worry about next week later. Yeah, I TOLD those scales, I am going to lose the weight, and they will have to adjust and get ready to keep on moving. Nasty Old Scales.... LOL, HAPPY DANCE, LOL
252.0 lb Lost so far: 32.0 lb.    Still to go: 12.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Well done on your weight loss!! And dont worry about going away from the safety of your home. That will be a great challenge for you and I know that you will do it. Keep going!! (By the way, I recently purchased Carb blockers as an emergency standby if I had to go out to eat with my family. Haven't tried them yet, but that might be an option if you are worried about relapsing back to the big bad high-carbs when you are away from home) By the way, would you be able to tell us what you had on the fat fast for future reference?

The fat fast is where you limit your cals on Atkins and you eat like every 4-5 hrs... you basically eating fat but you lose weight. It's in the book. It something people can use when they feel like the scales won't move. You eat like 1,000 cals or so daily but your actually not hungry, it's just the mind thing of it all.. It does work though, I've done it before. A couple of the pounds may come back.. but you should still show a loss from that DW. I'm doing a happy dance for you as well!!! Crank up the music!!! =D

Thanks for reminding of the Fat Fast last week, Lori. it sure worked for me! First I did a google scearch, and then defined my choices for the 200 to 250 cal of mostly fat cal. I had 2 sausage patties and coffee w/ extra cream about 7am, 1+ oz nuts at 1030, 1 nuked weiner w/ mayo at 1pm, one string cheese about 5pm, then hamburger pattie w/ cheese, or small steak about 8pm, one night I even ate those nasty little weiners again :) I do have to say my mind was saying I was hungry, so I drank some more coffee w/ extra cream. oh yea, I am also working out at the city indoor pool M-TH for an hour or hour & half. I didn't like the hungry part but I kept a little bag of nuts with for emergencies, and there were a few. LOL The end results were worth it!
