Hello buddies!
This weekend was Greg's birthday so Saturday we went to a BBQ place for lunch with his mom and dad, brother, SIL and nephew. Afterwards we went back to his parents for a bit and chatted there and then Greg and I headed back home (about a 40 minute drive). We did a couple geocaches on the way and did some errands, but nothing major. Sunday we just sort of stayed around the house because it was too hot to do anything! We got a few things done, watched some TV and relaxed! Of course sleeping in over the weekend threw my sleep schedule off so I didn't go to sleep until almost 2 and had to be up at 5:30 for work this morning, uck! I've also been sick with a cold since Thursday, but am starting to feel better. I have the cough part of it now and that's the worst.
So I only had a few hours sleep and then got up and went to work. My forearms are sore, it even hurts to use a can opener :( It was so hot and humid today, I think it was in the low 90s or high 80s, but the humidity was outrageous and it was so difficult to work I almost passed out. Hopefully tomorrow won't be so bad. I also worked the Barnes & Noble job tonight from 4-8 and I got there to discover the air conditioner wasn't working properly! Lol, so I work outside all day and am so hot and was waiting for it to be nice and cool....but no, it was just as bad inside!
Anyway, it's almost bed time for me and I have to do a couple more things. Hope everyone has a good day tomorrow!

I'm rather envious of your heat as it would be nice to have a few more days to enjoy by the pool. We have had very cool, fall-like weather lately. Wish Greg a fatsecret happy birthday for us!

Two jobs! That takes up a lot of your time! You have GOT to be really tired. Hope your cold gets better soon. Happy Birthday to Greg!

Feel better soon! I don't know how you work at Barnes and Noble...I would totally spend my whole paycheck on books if I worked there...I would be content with a cot in the back for me to sleep on, surrounded by books, LOL!

LOL yeah me too, Artistgrl! My mom-in-law told my Dad-in-law he could NOT work at B&N when he retired for similar reasons LOL

yeah, I don't know how you don't spend your whole paycheck on books either! you and my boyfriend have incredible discipline ;) I hope you have a great day and feel better soon!

I hope you feel better and that cough goes away soon! If it weren't so hot, I'd suggest a hot bubble bath for those sore muscles. Happy birthday to Greg.
