A basil and arugula pesto that's great on chicken or used as a salad dressing.
Ingredients
Directions
- Place all ingredients in a food processor except for the flax seed oil and pulse until the pesto is fine and evenly chopped.
- Turn the food processor on again and slowly add the flax seed oil until smooth. You may need more or less flax seed oil depending on the consistency.
- Store in a jar and add to vegetables and meats as desired. (Do not heat up because of the flax seed oil.)
- Note: works great with zucchini noodles. One serving is about 2 tablespoons.
