Easy cabbage soup recipe that will help with weight loss.
Ingredients
Directions
- In a large stock pot add the extra virgin olive oil on medium heat.
- Add onions, garlic and peppers, heat until onions are clearish.
- Next add celery and mushrooms.
- Next add carrots, soup mix (like lipton's brand), chicken stock and spices.
- Bring to a boil, turn down to simmer.
- Add cabbage pushing it down into the liquid, then add filtered water until cabbage is covered.
- Cook for one hour and let cool down before serving.
