I can't wait to weigh in tomorrow. I know I lost weight this week, I'm just not sure how much because I wasn't home this morning to weigh in. I feel the difference already, curious to see it on the scale. I am loving this lifestyle so far! P90x is so awesome, it kicks my butt every day. I am never hungry or craving loads of carbs and sugars. This is the first time I have tried this and I'm getting excited because so far it feels GOOD!!

Today was day one of the nutrition part of my program. I would be feeling a lot better about everything if I had gotten adequate sleep last night. As it is, I am bushed. I'm wondering how much of that is related to lack of sleep and how much of it is the diet and p90x. Hopefully tomorrow will be a little better. Off to bed early tonight!

Tomorrow starts p90x, which will give me Saturdays off of workouts for the next few months. I decided to follow the "lean" plan in order to place a heavier focus on cardio and weight loss. I am actually kind of excited and a little nervous to start. I intend to see this through!
I have found a diet to stick to in order to drop some initial weight and I will see what happens from there. I read the book called "Wheat Belly" and am now convinced that wheat products and sugars are the reason I have gained so much weight. Eating food with wheat and refined sugars in it spikes my insulin levels and causes me to have intense hunger cravings several times during the day. By eliminating those things from my diet I will in essence cut the cord to my cravings and will ultimately eat just what my body needs.
I am not going to lie, I am scared as hell of quitting wheat. It's not going to be pretty at first. I know that I am very addicted to it and that withdrawal is going to be tough. I am actually more afraid of the diet plan than of getting into p90x, which is saying something. But after the addiction to wheat and sugar is eliminated, it should get easier. The diet part of the plan starts Monday after I have purchased and prepared my meals.
Gulp, well here goes nothing!

Now that I have the DVD's and plan, I am going to start doing P90X on Monday... whoohoo here goes nothing! I found a lower carb diet plan that I will follow with the exercise plan so I'm hoping to see some decent results. I'm glad that I have been easing into it because now I feel that I can really do this. I need to keep my motivation and drive high. Actually losing weight will be the motivation that I need.

So I have been sick for over a week and I'm finally feeling better. I decided to start tracking my consumption again because it worked for me in the past. Here goes nothing.
