Good evening! Buenos noches! Konbanwa...I'm a musician influenced by Bill & Ted, Jeff & Tim Buckley, Tori Amos, Jack Johnson, Ed Vedder, Jose Gonzalez and Ani Difranco. Heavy on the beat, soaring on the vocals types. I'm a surfer influenced by Manny Vargas. I'm a language junkie who is slowly acquiring some skills in Japanese. I won't lie, my Spanish vocabulary could use some improvement. My goal is to teach music, surf, and play music. I have a BA in English. I'm going back to get a 2nd BA in Music with a concentration in jazz. On the way, I'd like to lose a whole 150lbs to get back to my bad, ripped, surfin'-self.

300->200lbs: Trip to Europe (starting pt is Paris)

200->150lbs: Solo Surfing Trip to Kalapana

150lbs after 1 yr maintenance: Solo Surf/Teaching Trip to Japan.

A dog in your life can make fitness a necessity, not a luxury
My dog has been in my life for almost five years. She is amazing. She's as spunky as a puppy and demands play, walking, and ear-scratchin' every darn day! I love every minute of it. She gets me outta the house for 30 minutes walking daily; it's no cardio workout, but at least I'm moving. I consider her my warm-up pal, my go-to buddy for teddy bear wrestling matches, and my guard dog against noises in the night. I can't say enough about having this pet: she is a joy. She reminds me everyday that my goal is to have a rancher with enough room for a dog rescue someday. Then I'll really have to run around!!! Very Happy

Weight Watchers
Last year I lost 30 lbs following the WW plan. Now, I count calories as well as WW points, but have a longer way to go (gained it all back over the winter--eep! Silly east coast winters). Looking forward now, moving forward now, and enjoying the relief my body is feeling back on the PLAN.
