I am only 4' 10 and with age I have slowly packed on the weight. About 2 years ago my Dr. showed me a chart of my weight gain over the last few years. A single line climbing continuously up the page. He pointed to it and said, "you are obese". What? But people call me little-bit, tiny, shorty all the time! No way!?

Oh wait.... my cholesterol is off the chart, I'm tired all the time, I've had feet and leg problems including fluid build up; muscles sprains; weird hot and cold sensations, I need a cpap machine to get a decent night's sleep and my self esteem has never been worse. How did I NOT notice? Why did it take a chart in my face to make me see it?

So, forget all my excuses I've had all my life. I will try new things. I am no longer the girl who hates beans, can't live without meat, won't try new foods, don't cook, never sticks to anything, and wears all those things like a badge that defines me. No sir. Watch me bloom into the full person I was meant to be.

HCG
I had good results but I was not sold until I heard that the health store versions only have trace amounts of hcg and are more placebo effect. Then why wouldn't I buy it? What do I have to lose beside a few bucks? The one I did was about 600 calories a day for 3 weeks. 3 meals and two snacks. It made me aware of portions and I had to remember to take my drops at certain times which was really only helping set regular meal times. No side effects and felt no jitters. Absolutely took my hunger way down even though I was convinced it was placebo. It was the boost I needed.

Any other shorties out there?
4' 10 here. People have always told me I don"t eat enough. I think I started believing it and began to eat portions meant for an average height person. I hit 130, tecnically obese, and my health declined along with my energy, then joint pain set in and exersize brought injuries. I'm beginning to realize that "eating like a bird" is not a bad thing for my height. One size does not fit all and 1200 calories per day is too much for me. I have to stop feeling pressure when people are taken aback by my portions. I understand for sure.
