I am 34 years old, I have an 8 y.o. girl and 5 y.o. son. My husband is a police officer and I am in land development/property management. We live in Texas, just outside of Austin, in the country, love to crochet in my down time and my favorite food are peanut m&m's. I originally did LAWL in 2005 and was successful in losing the 30 lbs. and maintained until this year when I had surgery. Since then I have steadily gained the weight back. I have about 17 lbs. to go and I am on the gold plan. I am 5' and weight gain is very visible on my small frame.

I love to read Nora Roberts books, historical and murder mysteries as well. My favorite TV shows are Ugly Betty and Desperate Housewives. I know alot of people don't like DH because they depict moraless women behaving badly, but it's fiction. It's brain candy and great way for me to not have to think to follow the story. All day long I reveiw contracts and various documents with sensitive material that I have to scrutinize and it's nice to step back from that every once in a while.

My kids are the greatest decision my husband and I have ever made. Though technically our son was a surprise. I also have a 19 y.o. stepdaughter from my husbands first marriage.

I grew up in a small town, I have an older sister and two nieces. Gosh writing about yourself is kind of hard. I look forward to meeting new people and expanding my circle of friends.

"Dream Candy"
My dream candy is peanut m&m's. We have the "fun" size packs at work this past two weeks. I did really well the first week and didn't have one, this week I had three packs. That's it. I fed the chocolate beast in me and now I am fine. Have a great week!

Favorite thing to order at your favorite restraunt?
I'll order the grilled chicken with the steamed or grilled seasonal veggies or tortilla soup with no tortillas or cheese added (then it's just chicken soup with veggies). I don't want to look at a salad at a restaurant. Fish or shrimp or crab legs sometimes. Now I'm hungry.Embarassed

Some of the franchises are closing or changed to Pure Weightloss, which those are closing. If your center is open it may be corporate owned or a better managed franchise.

Need Advice on Switching Plans
When I originally started this program I started on what was referred to gold. On that plan you ate 2 proteins, 3 veggies, 3 fruits, 2 starches, 1 dairy, 1 fat and 2 lites. The amount of protein was sufficient as well as the other food. Your current weight was what I started at. I don't know what plan 1 looks like, but if you choose to not do the lites, you should get more food. Do what's best for you and your body. If anything you'll switch if you need too.
