I am a 24 year old female in Sacramento California. I have been Yo-Yo dieting for many years now. I recently have lost 30 pounds, going from a size 13 to a size 6. Now I am focusing on keeping the weight off. Another 15 pounds would make me very happy though :)

Im a very happy person, with a lot of energy and creativity.

Carbohydrates
So now Im starting to freak out about carbs. I mean... I feel like i eat a healthy diet... Minus the occasional tootise roll or red vine. I am just now starting to freak out about carbs!! After I started entering food into the food calendar I recognized how many carbs are actually in the food I eat. Wholy COW!

Can anyone help me understand, or point me in the direction of a good book or article??

How do you guys deal with carbs? Are they as important as calories and fat?
