Well the last time I was on here I see I was 35, I am now 38 so it has been awhile since I have been keeping track. I no longer do Medical transcription, I am now working at a physical therapy office doing billing and love being out of the house, before, I worked at home, which got a little lonely and boring. I have always struggled with my weight and have been pretty much obsessed with my weight since my early 20's. I was a heavy teenager and there were some cruel people. I got to my early 20's and got down to 124 pounds up until I got married and had kids and was pretty happy with that weight, although some thought I was too thin for being almost 5'7", they said I looked sick, which looking at some pictures, I did look a little bony. My goal is to get to 135 pounds, smack in the middle, I think it is a fairly healthy weight. For some reason though, my body is fighting me on this. My doc says--your body is happy where it is, 140's is still healthy. I agree with her, but I would feel better and be happier to be in the 130's. I am giving this a try once again, trying the WW points to see how that goes, portion control...many of my friends have done great. Let the games begin!! :)

UGHHH
Okay, so I cut my calories down a bit and still exercising to try to jump start the weight loss since I gained 0.7 pounds this week and according to the scale I have gained another pound...really! What is going on?!!! Two days of eating 1150 calories and exercise, talk about aggravating!!! I think it is time to go see a nutritionist because I am obviuosly not doing something right.

Cabbage soup diet.... - Need responses
I did this as well. If you want to do it, I would recommend maybe making a small amount of soup and maybe eating it for your lunch once or twice a week with like half a whole grain bagel or bread. The only reason I do it is for the reason of getting off some water weight and going to the bathroom as it does definately clean you out. I suppose it is a good way of getting your veggies in as well. Hope it goes well, but I agree, this cannot be the only thing you eat, it is not a reasonable way to eat.

Hi,
I started on here three weeks ago wanting to lose 10 to 12 pounds. Not the easiest to do in a short time as I want mine off ASAP as well, but I know the slower the better. That small amout of 10 to 15 pds is awful to get off, so I am finding. I have been taking off so far about 1 to 1.5 pds a week, although this past week I gained about 0.7 pounds, hoping it is muscle as I have been exercising more than usual. GOOD LUCK to you!!
