I am Connie. I live just outside of Spokane, Washington. My husband and I both have a about 53 or more pounds to lose. We are both on Atkins. This will be our 4th week.

I broke my ankle last year and was on crutches for 6 months after have a plate put in the ankle. I was heavy enough that I put to much strain on the other knee and now I have problems with that. I am hoping that when I take off some of this excess weight that my knee will heal up. And during all of this we both quit smoking.

I have found that this website is one of the best to meet friends and give each other moral support.

If you need a buddie I am here.

low carb hamburger
the other day I got an Atkins email that was talking about different foods.

One of them showed a hamburger served on a tortilla. We made them tonight. A little hard to eat but you at least got that sandwich feeling and it was good. We only used 1/2 of a tortilla each so it really helped keep the carbs down.javascript:insertsmiley('Very Happy%20','/static/images/emoticons/biggrin.gif'Wink

Hey Ya'll
Both of you can do it. I have found setting small goals. Then you have cause for celebration whenever you make a goal. A HEALTHY celebration. This has been an excellent website and lots of good advice and comments.
