Hi Everyone, I am 37 originally from the UK but now living in Switzerland. My interests, other than my family include (in priority) cooking, eating good food, drinking good wine, talking, walking, and cycling. My wife says I'm a fat person stuck in a now thinner body. Last Summer I was on holiday and was not liking the way I looked, I wasn't officially obese or anything (98kg/215Lbs) but decided to do something about it because I wasn't happy with myself.

So I started walking at lunchtimes and eating smaller portions, not restricting foods/drinks of any type, (actually that's a lie, the only thing I gave up was yoghurt as I found out a small pot was nearly 200 calories and never filled me up at all!).... not doing high protein /low carb diets, 10 day plans or 30 day plans or eating all that new age green gunk s**t...... nothing like that at all. I realized I love food and drink too much to give up anything so if I was going to be successful I wasn't going to be able to give anythig up. I report now about 7 months on that I have lost 17kg (37lbs)in total and now wear clothes that are the same size as when I was at University! (for the first time in 10 years or so).

I guess I've pretty much hit my goal (I didn't really have one to start with) and am looking forward to the Summer!
