Need ideas for more PROTEIN please!
Whey protein: the shake mix I use is 1.5g total fat, 9g carbohydrates and 30g protein per 42g scoop.
From my experience,and at the risk of confusing via simplification, lowering carbohydrate intake lowers available glycogen and increases production of ketones, which leads to blubber loss--as long as dietary fat intake is sufficient. This is because too much protein will be converted to glycogen if there's not enough dietary fat to maintain production of ketones. Here's a link with a more in depth explanation:
