My name is Erin and I just moved to Virginia with my husband. Since I got married to my wonderful husband, Tom, almost two years ago I have put on about thirty five pounds. We're getting ready to start our family within the next few years. I made the decision to start taking better care of my body and learn to eat right so I have the best chance at a healthy pregnancy. I am working to lose a total of thirty pounds from start to finish. I've been on the South Beach diet for two weeks now - 8 pounds down and 22 more to go. My goal is what I call my "baby body"!
Update...so that was four years ago and I now have a two year old little boy. Gained 40 lbs with my pregnancy - which was healthy and amazing. Lost it all the following year and in six months have put it all back on. We're talking about having another in a few years and I am working on that "baby body" again. Need to get back to where I was and stay healthy. Putting another 40 on top of my current weight would be devistating to me.
Must get focused!!
