I think I have been over weight since I was about...13. I had my son when I was one week into 17 and have been way to big ever since. I have had another baby and I would like to have at least one more baby, but I don't want to do it with all this weight I have now. I broke the 300lb line the other day and I just can't be like this anymore. I am not following the Slim-fast thing, but it is the only thing I could think that I am doing. I am keeping a journal and trying to limit my calories. I am also working out with a friend every day for an hour, maybe more one day soon!(I am up to 1 1/2 hours!) I don't expect to be my ideal weight cause I am not built to be 170. I just wanna feel like I blend in and can buy clothes off the rack without a ton of fuss. The picture on my profile is my daughter. My kids are my biggest motivation, I want them to have a mommy who can teach them to be healthy and make them proud one day.

Hi, I am Amanda
I joined yesterday and I have been trying to lose weight for 5 days now. I went and weighed myself today and I was a pound heavier. I refuse to log that as a weigh in. I almost thought about giving up for a moment. I just can't believe that. I was on a different scale and I am sure a different time of the day. Arrgh! It's so hard! I wanna pig out on chips and ice cream and french fries so bad! I know that I am doing well with the exercise, but the food I could be doing better. I will get there I guess. Rolling Eyes

Anyway, I am Amanda. I am a stay at home Mom with 2 kids, bitchy neighbors and a "supportive" husband. I go to planet fitness every morning and I am going to try to go to Hot Yoga! That should be fun! I am on a reduced calorie diet with slimfast in there to help out from time to time, mostly at lunch and snacks.

Maybe I'm just looking for a way to cheat but .. ( Exercise )
I do the same thing as you. I am only at 15min right now and then my legs are in PAIN but I am working to 20 min. I like working out everyday but I would like to do more cardio everyday and start taking my weight training down to 2-3 times a week. I am not going to do that until I can do like 45 min of cario though. I love the cardio. I feel so energized after it. I would do it twice a day if I could squeeze it in with 2 kids.
