My name is Lora and I am 24 years old. I just recently, in September, broke up with my fiance and have been more or less devistated ever since. Finding comfort in sweets, chocolate cake, vanilla ice cream, cheesecake, etc., has more or less always been a problem for me as my weight has yo-yoed for pretty much all of my life, but especially now that I've been battling a feeling of depression.

I am 5'7" and currently weigh 142.5, although I swear the scale is lying in my favor because I feel heavier than that, and want more than anything to get back to the 138-135 mark.

I am doing the South Beach Diet AGAIN, and AGAIN I am doing it on my own without the support of my family (I had their support and was successful the first time around) and could really use all of the support and friends I can get! So please feel free to message and friend me! xx

NUTS anyone??
Hey hun,

Looks like you're doing a great job! Just be really really careful of nuts because for the most part they're loaded with carbs which is a huge no no for the South Beach Diet. It's really important to read the South Beach Diet guidelines in the book for how many of each type of nut you are allowed to consume and really really follow it! I know what you're going through with craving salt...I craved salt, sweets and carbs something fierce, especially during phase one. But stick with it and I promise the weight will begin falling off! xxx
