My weight was only a half pound less than it was just over a week ago, but my body fat percentage went from 35 to 34.5, so I'll still consider this week a success. I also drank quite a bit more Diet Coke. Coincidence?

Only 25 days and I've already had my first "have you lost weight?" comment. Woohoo!

Cutting back on Diet Coke has made this extra difficult. At 90 calories, medium iced coffees w/sf syrup from McDonald's are my new guilt-free go-to treat. Don't know how I'd do this without it!

Average 779 calorie deficit for the year so far, having tracked every single calorie and even overestimating when I'm not sure. This puts me on track for 31 pounds lost over 20 weeks, including the last 12 days. I'm going to be realistic and shoot for 25. I'll be thrilled with that if it happens. I can realistically look forward to hitting my goal weight by the time my braces come off!!
