Stuck at 237. I think it has to do with drinking to much alcohol. Going to lay off the Rum and Cokes and see what happens.

Hi Bill, Awesome bike! Checked out your food diary and like me your fat % is too high. According to the Mayo Clinic it should be between 20-35% of RDI. Maybe that small adjustment will help.

I'm 100% certain what the Mayo clinic is saying has nothing to do with what's true for an Atkins lifestyle. I happen to agree with you Bill, it may the the alcohol in combination with enough carbs and proteins to keep you out of ketosis. Do you have any ketone strips to see if you're in ketosis?

DLynne - No I don't have any strips. Where would I find these things?

They're pretty easy to find. Many pharmacies have them, most health food stores have them too. You may have to ask someone there to help you located them. Or you can order them online. I've gotten them at Netrition before: http://www6.netrition.com/lw_ketone_strips_page.html

Well, it didn't post the full address. Do a search for Netrition.com And then search for Ketosis Test Strips. I use the LW Scientific brand Ketosis or Ketone Test Strips. I've used other brands too. They all work the same.
