Day 53 (Week 8): 10 TO 30 POUNDS BY November OR BUST

Week 2 Cruise to Lose!

Good Morning!!! Calm waters (peace of mind) and a brisk wind (good exercise) to all! I hope this day finds all of you wonderful, health-minded, lovely FS peoples all well and working towards your fantastic healthy goals!!

So I did fairly well withthe exercise while I was gone. I walked a decent amount. And took walked all but one time instead of taking the wagon. I even danced a LOT on Friday not (talk about Aerobice) So I am not concerned on the movement, front.

Old Man Scale: He is doinghis job and letting me know how overboard I went with food! LOL

Food, hmmm let me see. Can we not talk about it? :) So it could definitely have been worse (and has been in the past) but the ranch feeds you like a cruise ship. I made sure to try and fill my plate with 3/4 healthy things, I skipped seconds (which is a new one when the food is THAT good) I filled in with salads almost every time we were not at the ranch. But even so there were a lot of poor choices mad and when you get a plate of yummy mushroom mash potatoes because they make your plate....well you get the gist. I did NOT overall behave this trip. In many cases I made better choices but in many others I had the roll, the foccacio and the wonderful dessert sitting in front of my plate too! It was wonderful, but now it's back to the grind stone. I have just decided I am doing a fast to reset my body. Lotsa water and hot tea (no sweetener) today, but no food until dinner and I am having a salad for dinner.

Well I suppose I better get my tushy off to work. I will try to catch up on journals later in the day!

Have a GREAT day, everyone!

Thanks Loos..I edefinitley need to get my butt back into gear. The fast feels good so far, actually. I am here at work sipping on some Yogi fasting tea. No workout today but definitley back into the groove tomorrow. (I don't want to work out and fast I think that is silly. I may go for a slow walk at lunch though)

So glad you are back! We missed you! BWWs need to step it up the rest of the week and show the other teams they can't dismiss us. Sounds like you had a fun time away, and got lots of "joyful movement" in ! Good for you!

It was TRULY joyful movement. It was a GREAT trip!!! And now that I know some of the weight gain is TOM's doing, I feel better. I did not think I was THAT horrid heheh

Oh and the fast's over. I had my salad for dinner. I splurged a tiny bit on a pizza but grabbed the mushroom and cheese one and did not eat ANY of the crust so not horrid. Tomorrow, I think I will walk it up to 1200-1500 calories then on Wednesday go back to my normal 1500-1800 but try and stay on the lower end of that the rest of the week to make up for my week-end of debauchery. I feel really good after my fast. I will have to remember that. I don't want to do it too often, because I have no desire to kick into starvation mode but for today it felt good and my stomach capacity should be back to normal.
