Day 48 (Week 7): 10 TO 30 POUNDS BY November OR BUST

Week 1 Cruise to Lose! Cannot wait to see what Turkish foods people try!!

Good Morning!!! Calm waters (peace of mind) and a brisk wind (good exercise) to all! I hope this day finds all of you wonderful, health-minded, lovely FS peoples all well and working towards your fantastic healthy goals!!


Still doing well on the exercise front: I walked 20 minutes (1.08 miles) on my lunch. After my conference call, dinner, and outgoing calls I hopped on the Wii. Did 25 minutes of balance (I am still not getting consistent results on the balance tests) and 16 minutes of yoga. I think I will focus on mostly yoga tonight because I am missing my class on Thursday and I will likely be focused on walking while away.

Old Man Scale gave me little this morning :) 248.5 Back to my low. Not below as I had hoped, but that is okay. At least I am back tot he official 18lbs lost over all point!And the BWW will rock the boat anyway. At least I am no longer registering a gain for the week!

Did well with eating yesterday. Stayed within my carb limit, yesterday, and even had sushi and Couscous for dinner :) I don't think I will be dropping it below 160. I want those whole grains and fruits for my heart health. This feels like a good place to aim for as I go forward in my journey even after the OCC is completed. I know I will not always be in that range because I am NOT restricting myself and that is part of why this is working.

I guess I HAVE to eat well this week-end, now! I don't want to erase all the hard work of clawing myself back down to 248.5 and then have to do it all over again next week!

Well off to another healthy day!! Have a GREAT one!


Floor Goal: 250 Done, D-done, Done, Done!!! 13lbs down from the beginning of the challenge, 17 down from when I first started watching in August.

Mid-range: 245 Turkey Day I am coming for you! 18 from beginning of the challenge. 21.5 from when I first started and 3.5 from now. Goal date Nov. 1st (or sooner, if I want to make the ceiling goal too!)
Ceiling goal: 235 by the 30th of November. This is a bit of a stretch, but that is what a ceiling goal is all about. :) 28 from challenge start, 13.5 from now and 31.5 from when I first started watching. (I can feel this with my finger tips if I just r...e...a...c...h!)
Christmas Challenge Goal:230 by December 25th!! 36.5 from when I first started watching. (I have got a plan for the holidays! For once in my life I will NOT gain weight, I will LOSE!!!)

1st things first 245 (almost there! Just 4 more itty bitty lbs and 3 work weeks to do it in!!) then 240 then on down, down down!

all your journals about the Wii, actually got me to drag the poor little guy out last night! I ended up doing 40 minutes on it, between balance and aerobics. Thanks for inspiring me to do it :)

LOL Melody! They will. And to get the Wii Fit you have to have the base system so there are all kinds of games and even the basic ones are so much bette rhtna sittung in fron tof a screen.
