Day 21 (Week 3): 10 TO 30 POUNDS BY November OR BUST

So bouncing is starting to feel like a normal state of being this week!!! I was not expecting to be down again so soon especially with a few higher calorie days this week! I keep expecting my weight loss to slow down. I don't feel like I am being unhealthy and I am certainly eating and moving more than I used to I just have not kept up this rapid weight loss this far into the game. (last week's stall is more normal for me) So I must have been wrong about time as it was only that one HUNGRY day and no weight affects mood swings or bloating that I can tell. Maybe my body just needed more calories that day even though I am not doing terribly intensive exercise, yet!

I am a little worried about this week-end on the food front. Tonight I am going to a winery with a bunch of friends which means dinner will be wine a bunch of cheeses bread fruit and lovely tasty unhealthy meats...I plan on trying to cut way back on calroies for the rest pf the day so it won't be TOO horrid but we shall see. Tomorrow won't be much better. During the day I have an all day packaging workshop where I pack my own lunch (thank the divine) but in the evening is a dinner party at my cousin's for a Ramadan Iftar. I have a feeling they will be serving lots of yummy pies and kiebi (although kiebi is not horrid if they use lean meat) and all kinds of things that are tasty but many will probably be high in carbs and/or fats.

As you can I failed to resist Old Man Scale's charms yet again. BUT as long as it keeps me motivated as opposed to bringing me down, I am going to ride the wave. I am officially at 254, WooHoo! Still no need to choose a weigh in day of the week just yet :D

Even with the few day's calorie intake highs I am still doing fairly well with my food choices. I think it will soon be time to take a peak at my carb counts. Maybe not yet since I am still losing. I may use reducing my refined carbs more when I hit a plateau. I have a tendency to plateau horribly and it is demotivating to me so I need to have a few weapons in my arsenal when those days come.

I think focusing more on burning a good bit more calories than I eat is helping a lot. I can always "fix" a day if I need to and it seems to be working!

4lbs to go to my floor goal! And soooo early in the challenge! Apparently bouncing does indeed burn calories woo woo!!

Floor Goal: 250 (13lbs down from the beginning of the challenge, 4 from now.)
Mid-range: Weigh in at 245 for Thanksgiving with my folks, which is 18lbs from the beginning of the challenge and 9 from now. Half way there!!!!
Ceiling goal: Definitely aiming for this one now. I cannot weight! 1 year from now I will be at least 50 - 75lbs lighter How exciting is that! I am actually starting to be able to feel my ultimate goal weight is possible even though I still have a lot of work to do.

1st things first. Get myself to 250, then 245 then the others!
254.0 lb Lost so far: 12.5 lb.    Still to go: 79.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

You are very aware of what you're doing/eating, etc. I like your 'arsenal plan' and eating plan for today. Having a pedometer has really helped me get more activity into my life. B/c I'm not working, I usually would moop around the house and watch a lot of TV. When my pedometer read < 1,000 steps (when I first got it) I was in shock. Having a goal of > 10,000 steps has REALLY helped me get into the 'movement' mood. Great job on losing the weight! You'll get to your Thanksgiving goal at the rate you're going! Good for you! Yeahhh!

Yeah I need to find mine again. I am doing all those little extra steps I used to do when I used it regularly but would be better to actually count again. I remember when I first did my average day it was like 4k. Getting between 5-8 was pretty easy but 10 can be difficult.
