Hot damn!

I gained 3 kilos over christmas! lol.

Actually, I gained three kilos over the last week! LOL.

Let's home they come off as fast as they got on.

I'm back in the groove, doing good and doing right. It's a good feeling.

I had my usual breakfast - two eggs, two slices of extra lean ham, and two slices of rye bread - as usual, I did my workout video and I am now journaling. Things are as they should be, only 15 kilos too heavy. We're fixing that.

I'm in a great mood today. I'm going back to work, and I am honestly looking forward to it. I have missed my routines SO much. I have missed the schedules, and I just don't feel that I have the same grip when I am at home all day.

So here's to new beginnings (that started already yesterday)!

Yesterday I did great. I ended up at 1500-and-something calories, just below my RDI. I had good foods, and even had room for a tiny portion of ice cream! I gave myself the ice cream as a reward for a first day of doing good, and with a strict rule of not exceeding RDI. I had 50 grams (which is nothing!), and it was plenty to satisfy the craving.

Let's hope today will be just as easy. I think it will. :)

Today, I'm thankful for:

- Going back to work!
- Not even 6 AM and I already did a little workout!
- Morning coffee!
- Wife being on board with the diet. I hope she stays on with me.

Life is good!

I also gained. You are more brave than me to register it! :) I'm still in denial.. bigtime :) This morning I jumped off the scale like a Kangaroo that got spooked...

LOL, Ryan. I'm not gonna say I was proud of registering it. For a moment, I was thinking "maybe I should wait a week or two weighing in..."... but you know as well as I do that if we don't confront it, we won't do anything about it. So register it, deal with it, and take care of it. Right?

We are all a crew for the record books! But thankfully, we all ended up back here and fixing what needs to be fixed! Ryan included!!! LOL! Nothing to me feels better than unwrapping the veil and having some clarity again. That's what I gained when I stepped back on the scale. Clarity!

Keld - congrats on weighing and registering it - denial is far too easy and dangerous. As my buddy, I think you'll teach me the metric system yet. I actually had to google to do the conversion. Not that bad for all the holiday food and I know you'll take it off shortly. You're amazing. Have a great day!

FullaBella, start with knowing that one kilo equals two lbs, give or take.

I always thought it was 2.2 lbs to a kilo ... Have I been in error?

no it is 2.2 pounds. i just got done with a medical math class. i got that conversion pounded into my head in 2 of my classes.

Great job, Keld. And I can't believe you were looking forward to going back to work. God bless. Hope you had as fanastic a day as it started out.

"So register it, deal with it, and take care of it.: I love that philosophy. Too often, I want to just go into denial.
