Weigh in day has arrived and I am exactly where I was last week at this time!

After some respites from migraines they appear to have resurfaced this morning. My aura just dissipated so we'll see if the pain comes too. I am hoping NOT as I have an appointment I really need to keep at 10:00 am. After that if I needed to go home it would be fine, I simply wouldn't get as much done today.

Our generator is up and running. The barter we had arranged with John didn't work out so we will need to keep our eyes open for a good deal on a back up generator.

Everything else is pretty much fine. Yesterday I felt particularly 'skinny' for some reason. Not so much today but you all know how that is! The reality is that I am 'skinnier' than I have ever been in my recollection. Even when I lost weight many years ago (for ten seconds) I wasn't wearing size 10 and 12. I don't know if sizing changed or my body is really that different this time. Maybe it is all the muscle I have! LOL!!

I am grateful today for ...

1. the last day of the work week;

2. rings being loose on my fingers;

3. being nearly a year and a half into this journey and having made such significant progress;

4. the joy I feel as I read about my buddie's journeys (not joyful of course for your struggles ... I feel joyful that I have the privilege of being a witness to your lives and am able to support you!!);

5. colleagues I truly enjoy!!

Have a fabulous Friday. Don't forget to practice kindness towards yourselves today and when those negative thoughts come tell them to GO AWAY!!! Let's break our old patterns that keep us prisoner to feeling badly about ourselves!!!

You have a great Friday as well and yea for the generator! That is good news Unfortunately the returning of the migrane is not. I hope that will get better before your big weekend. Maybe try one of those Bellini's this weekend. Very Very good! You must be losing inches. That's what happened to me. It's a great feeling. Enjoy it and have a great day!

Naiomy ... I've had migraines since I was 9 years old. They seem to come and go. I usually have a little wave of them when they come and then it could be weeks or months before I have another one. The only thing that seems to help is Maxalt when I have one. I've tried every other remedy under the sun with no success. I think mine may be hormonally and/or weather related. Sorry you get them too ... they are very annoying!!

Hoping your migrane goes away and you are feeling better soon. I know what you mean about the size thing-I wonder quite often if they have changed as I used to weigh this amount and be in a 14 or 16 now I am in a 12....weird...

Being skinnier than you have ever been in your recollection says a lot on the great job that you have done there moose. I hope the migraine doesn't flare up. Have a great day buddy!

Feeling skinny is the reward to your hard work in your recent days! I found out the hard way one day when it hit me, "oh, this how a skinny girl can feel fat" LOL KUDOS to you!

I had THREE migraine auras today. ): Fortunately only a slight bit of pain in the head and I stayed at work ... only because I had so much to do! Ha! Just had a delicious dinner of BBQ steak & salad with a slice of watermelon! I don't feel 'as skinny' today ... go figure. But I am really trying to think differently, really try to see myself as others see me (meaning my good friends and family not the world in general). I'm working on not being so darned concerned about keeping 'low' calories since I discovered I lost MORE when I was eating MORE (average of 1600+ a day is the month I got down to 177 something)!!! I'm a slow learner I guess. LOL!! So glad it is Friday night!!! YEA for the weekend!!

Sorry to hear your migraines are surfacing - maybe the stresses of the past weeks were keeping them at bay!
