Around the World Challenge Weigh-In

Good Morning everyone and my Trailblazers teammates in particular! I'm honoured to be your Travel Guide for this new and exciting challenge, and looking forward to seeing the great results I know we will all achieve over the next six weeks!!

OK - let's get started then...

My official starting weight is 154.5 lbs, so holding steady since yesterday, although only just. The scales did flicker upwards a couple of times, so I need to stay 100% focused if I'm going to get down my Easter goal of 11 stone or 154 lbs.

I stuck reasonably well to yesterday's diet plan. I always plan to have wine on a Friday night (unfortunately, sparkling white rather than red!), so that still counts as being on plan. However, with it being Good Friday and therefore a day off with my little boy, just couldn't resist sharing a bit of toast and some of his dinner... Still, it was all recorded and accounted for, and I remained well within my calorie allowance, so no real harm done. Must try harder the next couple of days though!

As promised, I did do a double Dyna-Band workout yesterday, one of which was the killer cardio session. I also did the full 30 minute dance routine from Rosemary Conley's Shape Up & Salcacise DVD. So, 60 minutes in total compared with the scheduled 20 minutes - I make that 300%!! ;)

I hope everyone has a lovely Easter Saturday lined up. I have an exciting afternoon ahead of me - an appointment with my personal shopper for a wardrobe update!! It's not quite as grand as it might sound, as it is a free service offered by the department store. However, you do get 1.5 hours in a large private changing room being brought as many clothes as you wish for, so it is a fantastic thing to do. This will be my fourth new wardrobe since I started on this weight-loss journey!

Let's get moving fellow Trailblazers!!

Wow, great exercise job! Yes, what store does that and do we have it over here in the US?

Thanks everyone! It's a store called Debenhams - not sure if you have it in the US? What I particularly like about it is that they have special ranges by the likes of Jasper Conran, John Rocha and Betty Jackson, which are fabulous, designer clothes without the usual designer price tag! I had a fantastic shopping trip - exhausting, but worth it!! :)
