A month of clean eating affects me more than I realize. In an effort to clean out the freezer and make my family a hot meal that we all could eat, I dug out the package of Michael Angelo's eggplant parmesan and made it for us all to eat. Good hot food, right? Well, after I ate my modest portion, my stomach began to gurgle and roll. I didn't feel so good. It only took about 30 minutes and my body started to reject the food that I had just ate. When I slow down long enough to listen, actually listen, to my body, it obviously did not want that processed dinner I had eaten. The queasy feeling stayed with me the rest of the night as a reminder that healthy whole food is what I am supposed to eat. Oh well, at least there's more room in the freezer now for good food! I wonder if these last three Atkins shakes will upset my stomach... I can't stand throwing food away so I'll drink one today and see how it goes.

Unrelated side note: at the end of my Whole 30 challenge I had lost 4" total. Not too shabby at all! As of now I will weigh in and measure on Sundays only (gotta break that scale addiction).

Fresh is always better, but I've had that eggplant and thought it was pretty good. Sorry you had problems though.

The last time I had the same meal it was good and I had no adverse reactions. I think this time simply because of how clean I am eating, it stressed my stomach. I would still recommend it to other people to eat.
