Yahoo! Wow...I am stunned. 4.6 lbs in ONE week. I owe this to eating super clean.

This is definitely more than a weight fluctuation, so that's exciting. I worked out every day (M-F), so it would be great if none of the loss was muscle.

I did a walk/run on Monday and Tuesday, and weightlifting/strength training Wed, Thurs, and Fri. For my walk/run, I've worked my way to a 12:45 min/mile for 2 miles. Wed I worked my triceps, Thurs was back, and Fri was thighs.

I definitely feel that I'm more toned, and I think I look more toned too. Of course, it could all be in my mind, because I've been consistently working out and eating clean.

When I look down while I'm sitting at the computer, my stomach looks smaller, which is nice, since that is my problem area and usually bugs me.

I was afraid I hadn't lost any weight, like last week. But I told myself I would continue my new lifestyle regardless, because I FEEL better. I feel better eating clean and not having a strong appetite. And I feel better about myself, because I'm taking good care of myself.

But it's nice to see results on the scale too of course ;)

Wow, I am super excited. This girl just might be continuing the weight loss part of her journey.

Congrats to you. Sounds like you are also establishing a sustainable plan for staying fit and healthy not just for losing the weight.

You're so inspiring Christy! I spent a little time looking at your food diary. How do you prepare your steel oats? I've tried it a few times and never really liked the taste. Does all that fresh fruit really make a difference? Lina

Thanks, Lynch. My food diary from the past week shows my new lifestyle changes, which I eat much less fruit now. I avoid bananas and very sweet fruit. I've just been eating an apple and a 1/2 cup of berries a day. I cook steel cut oats on the stove. I add a small amount of stevia to it just before it's done and mix it into a bowl with the berries and a little milk. The only difference compared to regular oatmeal is that the oats are harder, although I love it! Much healthier than instant oatmeal :)
