FINALLY!!!! Traces are showing on ketostix (even with my teaspoon full of yuck apple slice) Im happy now I know im going into Ketosis :) Had a good day though, very little hunger and very little need for sweet stuff :) OVER THE MOON!!! Shopping day tomorow so im gunna pick some stuff up to try a cheesecake without the base. Happy happy happy. Cant wait to weigh on Tuesday :)

You can use ground nuts as a crust for cheesecake. I like it even better than a graham cracker crust. You may be able to find a recipie on this site or on the Atkins site. I have some cookbooks by Dana Carpender that have a whole variety of cheesecake recipies. It sounds like things are getting a bit easier for you, which is great. If you crave sweets you can always try some of the sugar free chocolates that are available. Just a couple of pieces really help me when I have the urge to eat something sweet. You don't want to eat too much of it as it can have a laxitive effect.
