I'm a 50 something wife, mom and grandmother of the cutest little 6 year old.

I have been on a weight roller coaster since 2004 and its really gotten out of hand. I want to get my weight under control, get healthy and get strong! That's going mean losing about 90 lbs. A little intimidating...

I'm strongly motivated by a class reunion coming up this summer. I know I can't get to goal by then, but we'll see how far I can get!

Points Vs Calories
So - I get 33 pts and at an average of 50 cal per 1 pt - thats 1650 calories per day. No wonder the weight loss is so slow. But the weight is coming off...maybe slow but sure will be the answer for me.

Body Medic Armband
Has anyone tried the Body Media Armband? Its been reviewed in the media here and I'm interested but its not cheap. Would be a good investment if it works as advertised. Smile

Water intake
A friend of mine was warned by an Urologist that too much fluids can damage bladder and kidneys. His advice was not to force 8 glasses of water, but to combine water consumption with the other fluids you drink.
