I'm a 30 year old single woman with no children. I hate to exercise and love to eat; a recipe for disaster! Here's my story: I used to be a scrawny thing that could eat all day and night and never gain an ounce but that all changed once I hit puberty; my chest and backside began to grow faster than the rest of my body. lol. It didn't matter though I was a very active kid. I ran track and I loved it until my doctor discovered a heart murmur. My mother freaked out and I was forced to quit running. The heart murmur eventually went away but my love for running had waned. My senior year of high school I began using a birth control called Depo Provera and that's when things got out of control! I gained about 30lbs, all before my senior prom and my body has never been the same since. When I got to college, I began working out and eating less and the pounds began to come off but ever since then my weight has always fluctuated. I've had numerous gym memberships but I always seemed to get bored after a while and I would stop going. I tried weight watchers for a few months and I lost weight and really enjoyed the meetings but I wasn't organized enough to keep track of what I was eating and eventually I gained the weight back. So now here I am trying once again and not just for vanity's sake. My ultimate goal is to be healthier. One day soon I'd like to be a mom (if my boyfriend ever gets around to popping the question. lol) so I want to get my weight under control as soon as possible. My girlfriend is getting married in January and I figured that would be the perfect deadline to meet my weight loss goal. I've enlisted the help of my bff (who is also using fatsecret) and my co-workers; we've created a "biggest loser" challenge at the office. I'm running again on the weekends, walking during my breaks at work and I purchased a bike so my boyfriend and I can ride together. Hopefully, I'll be able to lose weight and keep it off this time! Wish me luck! ;-)
