Hi there,

I would love to be your buddy, being my buddy is a choice!

This is what i stand for:
- I have a good sense of humor, i do not get angry easily, nor do i get offended easily. My statements do offend once in a while and i blame that on the fact i am not an native English speaker, born in Amsterdam and taught to speak up for my believes, and not beat around the bush.
- If you ask for my opinion, i will give it. I have an opinion about everything (*lol*)
- I always speak my mind to buddies.
- If you don't like me, don't be my buddy! I try to be more reserved to non-buddies.
- I believe in a healthy diet, suited for your own body and lifestyle.
If you need to lose 10 pounds, go ahead drink water, fast, shake, and starve! But if you need to lose about a 100 pounds like me, then the slow and steady way is the only way to go. 100 pounds didn't come overnight, and your body needs the time to lose it in a healthy way.
- I believe in speaking the truth (as i see it) You can easily lie to me, but you will lose a friend.
- I believe in science and the power of the mind.
- I believe in the intrinsic good in people.
- I am always looking for improvements to my diet or work-out.
- I believe in a higher power, i do not pretend to know his name, nor do i put words in his mouth. I'm sure he has a good sense of humor and that he will be there in the hour of my utmost need.
- I believe we all have a right to choose our own spouse. In that line of thought i approve and acclaim LGBTQQ marriages.
- Anyone who feels trapped in the wrong body should be allowed to change that body since it is yours and yours alone. In that line of thought i also approve and acclaim of all members of the LGBTQQ.

a little "tkddb" deb_n... its a dutch saying when people make punch line statements that are not untrue, but at the same time does not cover the answer to a problem adequately. *** to sleep you need a lot of ingredients, one of which is a peaceful state of mind. A lot of people reach that state simply by eating. You must teach yourself to reach that state some other way, for example by making yourself "tired" enough by exercising. But this also doesn't cover the whole story. There is yoga, mantra, scented candles, bath, aromas, natural drops and homeopathic pills and lots of other ways to calm the soul. To calm the mind you need to get rid of 'the monster within', whatever it is that is keeping your mind occupied and preventing it from resting, which can be a long and painful process. *** eating is easier most of the time Wink

lowest carb eh? howabout tuna-salad?
high in protein, and some healthy fats from fish-oils, omega 3s, potassium and vitamin c?

if you dont like tuna, you can make it with chicken...you miss out on the omega3 and the potassium, but you still have high protein high vitamin snack.

What do you add to your salad to jazz it up?
another nice protein rich and very healthy salad: strawberries, roastbeef (thin slices) and lettuce. if you still have room for some peanuts in your diet add 10 grams of nuts...

for you protein lovers: pickles and tuna with lettuce makes a great salad!!!
for extra potassium add some tomatoes. because of the fat in the tuna and the moist in the pickles, no dressing is neaded!
